Who’s Eligible?

All Georgians age 12 and older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to be vaccinated. The Pfizer is the only vaccine currently authorized for individuals for ages 12 and older. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are authorized for ages 18 and older.

Transportation: St. Joseph’s / Candler is offering FREE transportation assistance through October 31st for residents of Chatham County who may have difficulty getting to the Department of Public Health vaccination site due to issues with transportation. Once you have scheduled an appointment, please call 912-819-2883, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m to schedule your ride. You must have a vaccination appointment before scheduling a ride.

Walk-In Clinic

The Downtown Vaccination Clinic is a walk-up clinic and appointments are strongly encouraged. Anyone with an appointment will be given priority over any walk-ups. The clinic is conveniently located at the Savannah Fire Department #2 with easy access to public transportation and CAT bus terminal.

Savannah-Chatham County Public School Mobile Clinics

Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools is partnering with Sr. Joseph’s/Candler, Hospice Savannah, Savannah Fire, Department of Public Health and Chatham Emergency Services to offer COVID-19 vaccines to SCCPSS staff and students who are 12 years of age and older.
