All Georgians aged 16 and older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive the vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine currently authorized for aged 16 and older. Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are authorized for ages 18 and up.
Civic Center Downtown Vaccination Clinic
The Civic Center Downtown Vaccination Clinic is a walk-up clinic and appointments are strongly encouraged. Anyone with an appointment will be given priority over any walk-ups. The clinic is conveniently located at the Savannah Civic Center with easy access to public transportation and CAT bus terminal. Parking is available in the Savannah Civic Center Parking Lot.
Southside Vaccination Clinic
The Southside Vaccination Clinic is a walk-up clinic and appointments are required. The clinic is conveniently located on the southside of Savannah near the Savannah Mall at the Armstrong Center on the campus of Georgia Southern University at the corner of Abercorn Street and Apache Ave. Parking is available at the Armstrong Center and the clinic is easily accessible via CAT Bus Route 14 Abercorn Local.
Mass Vaccination Clinic
The Mass Vaccination Site is located near the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in West Chatham County. This clinic is a drive-thru clinic only and appointments are required. Free transportation to the Mass Vaccination Site is available to Chatham County residents through Chatham County Emergency Management (CEMA) by calling 912-856-4563 Anyone requesting transportation assistance must have a confirmed appointment at the Mass Vaccination Site and request must be made no later than 3 p.m. the day before their appointment.
